I do not recommend this item.

I purchased this at another store, but was here pricing replacement toasters and this came up first on recommendations. I was compelled to share my thoughts.

It was a neat gadget and seemed like a great way to make a quick breakfast. I purchased this item about 2 years ago. I didn't use it daily, more like bi-weekly, and after about 8 months the heating tray for the water stopped working. At that point it just became an ordinary, mediocre toaster. Now, I used it the other day and the toast popped, but was still cold. The heating elements on both sides don't work. It's useless.

When it worked, it was always a crap-shoot on how well the eggs would be done or took constant adjustments of the controls for the toast to be done right. I also noticed that the tray was extremely difficult to clean. Finally, the spring to lift the toast out of the toaster wasn't strong enough and wouldn't quite lift the bread or muffin out of the toaster. I always had to pry it out with a fork.

Considering the quality and how much use I got out of it, I am extremely disappointed. When I purchased it, the cost was $60. I don't consider the quality to live up to the price paid, and given my experience with it I would move on and purchase something else.

saw this item thought it would be a novelty at first. Ii was surprised how easy it is to use, makes everything easy and fast. I am enjoying this product.

I agree with the reviews I read before I bought. The toaster works like a charm and it is great to have the egg done at the same time as the bread. How nice to have a product that delivers what it promises.
